The COC Haaglanden is looking for a general board member who is involved in the
managing employees and volunteers and organizing parties and events.
The COC Haaglanden is an association with its own building and 3 part-time employees. In addition
are volunteers active within the association for the daily activities, such as organizing
events, communal food and bar services.

What we ask
As a general board member you have the time to work on your board for an average of 8 hours a week
spend. You are a go-getter who sees what needs to be done and rolls up your sleeves.
You enjoy motivating people and helping them to get the best out of themselves. You like
contribute to the COC Haaglanden as a broad, open association where everyone from the
LGBTQIA+ community is welcome and feels at home.
You are easy going, open, creative and know how to improvise. You don't get out of it easily
take the field and know how to achieve results left or right, taking those involved in
your ideas and inspires. It is an advantage if you like to network and make contacts
with people and organizations outside the COC Haaglanden.
Due to the current composition of the board, we invite gender diverse people and people
of color with emphasis to apply. A declaration of conduct is required.

What we offer
You will be part of a fun, motivated and diverse board (ages 22-62 .)
years) and is given the opportunity to develop personally. We also offer the opportunity to participate
participate in relevant training and courses. Board members receive attendance fees.
