COC Haaglanden is going to renovate!

COC Haaglanden is on the eve of an exciting change: our building is getting a thorough renovation! With this renovation, we are making the building more sustainable, accessible and flexible, so that it fits the needs of our community even better.

On March 11, the General Meeting of Members (ALV) approved the renovation plans. Thanks to this support, we can start working on realizing a building that is future-proof and offers space for all our activities.

Why this renovation?

The renovation has four main pillars:

• Sustainability: We improve heating, ventilation and safety and ensure that the building is future-proof.
• Accessibility: There will be no more thresholds, we will install an extra accessible toilet on the ground floor and improve the acoustics.
• Flexibility: We ensure that the rooms can be used simultaneously, for both large meetings and small discussion groups.
• Attractiveness: The building will have a fresh, modern look.

What does this mean for visitors?

From Monday March 17 our building is temporarily closed for renovation. We are moving our activities to alternative locations, so that everyone can still come to us.

During the renovation, our working groups and activities will take place at various locations in The Hague:

Please note: Open Fridays are temporarily cancelled.
