On Tuesday September 7, Ernesto Rozendal passed away shortly after his 65th birthday. Ernesto was an active volunteer at COC Haaglanden until the very end. Until the measures surrounding covid made it difficult, he organized the Zilveruitje every two weeks and was also actively involved in shaping the elderly policy at COC Haaglanden.

In addition to his work for COC Haaglanden, Ernesto was also active at the Splika Foundation, which was involved in the promotion of Papiamento and the literature & culture of Aruba, Bonaire & Curaçao.
