On 27 June 2018, members of the Sexual Diversity Platform in The Hague, by signing the 2018 Declaration of Intent, confirmed their commitment to promoting the acceptance of gender and sexual diversity in The Hague. The mood was festive and the enthusiasm palpable.

The Hague Platform Sexual Diversity (HPSD) was established in 2014 to put the theme of 'Sexual Diversity' on the map in the bi-cultural districts of The Hague. With the 2018 Letter of Intent, HPSD members pledge to “…make (their) moral, material and personnel efforts to the best of their ability…” to help realize the HPSD mission. A mission aimed at promoting dialogues, information and information exchange that are of high quality, promote acceptance and respect. In the coming period, the HPSD will pay special attention to the districts of Segbroek, Laak, Escamp and Loosduinen. There is a lot to do in our city and the HPSD has rolled up its figurative sleeves.

The signatories of the 2018 Declaration of Intent are: COC Haaglanden, Rainbow Den Haag, Mil Colores, PEP, Vobis Foundation, Interreligious Beraad Segbroek, Vader Centrum Adam and the Alevi Cultural Association Dab-Der.
