Mounir Samuel (1989) is an Egyptian-Dutch political scientist, Middle East expert, blogger, author and fly-in correspondent Middle East and North Africa for the Groene Amsterdammer. On Thursday 17 January he will be a guest in the Naaldwijk Library where he will discuss the confession of freedom. In the dazzling lecture The greatest freedom, in which he will also recite from his own work, he shows the many dimensions of freedom and completely blurs the boundaries of orientation, faith, gender and geography.

Mounir Samuel is the author of the novel 'Love is a rebellious bird', the young adult novel 'Dancing on waves of tear gas' and his most recent book 'God is great: eat, pray and love with Muslims'. The books will be for sale during the evening and will be signed.
You are most welcome on January 17 from 20.00 to 22.00 in the Naaldwijk Library. Tickets cost € 5 for members of the Westland Library and € 7,50 for non-members. Tickets are available at www.librarywestland.nl
