Splashing final and afterparty in La Bonbonnière

In 2 weeks the National COC Song Contest will take place in Maastricht. There are still a few tickets available via our website www.cocsongfestival.nl

During the festival, 13 COCs and other interest groups will compete for the title and the challenge cup. It promises to be a very diverse program ranging from poetry to rock and everything in between.

Via the site there is now also the possibility to only buy tickets for the Pink song festival afterparty! Tickets cost €7,50 and are available via our tickets page at www.cocsongfestival.nl; also door-to-door sales. This after-party will last up to 5 hours. There is only a limited amount of tickets available, so be on time to buy your ticket.

Official pre-party on November 29
The evening before, on Friday 29 November, there is a welcome party for participants, visitors and other song contest fanatics. From 20:00 our DJ will play a mix of classic and modern Eurovision and COC Song Contest hits and with a touch of Swedish schlager.

Get into the Eurovision mood in Café Rosé and start the weekend with the warm-up for the 19th National COC Eurovision Song Contest! Café Rosé is located in the COC Limbuerg building, Bogaardenstraat 43. Starts at 20 pm to midnight.

Professional jury now also with testosterone input
A male jury member had to take a seat in the professional jury and we found him in the person Rob Rebergen. Rob presented the festival 6 times before as Tessa International (hostess and co-hostess). Rob has said goodbye to Tessa (he was tired of tightening the corset) and will provide the necessary testosterone input to the jury.

Charity
During the evening we would like to draw attention to the Iranti Foundation. Iranti is a small organization of brave lesbian activists who use the camera to expose violence against lesbians and transgenders in South Africa. Lesbian women are regularly raped to "cure" them of their sexual preference, so-called corrective rapes. Not infrequently, these rapes end in murder. The women of Iranti make short films about these crimes and publish them on the internet, including YouTube. There are also plans to start a radio station on the Internet. Iranti has no structural income of its own and is dependent on gifts and donations.

Possibility Dinner at La Bonbonnière
In the brasserie of our location there will be the possibility to enjoy a special COC Song Contest menu this evening. More information about this can be found on our website.

National COC Song Contest
The National COC Song Contest started in Limburg as a nod to the great Eurovision Song Contest following the disappointing 4 points of Willeke Alberti in 1994. It has since grown into a serious song contest where a large number of COC Departments and other gay interest organizations to join. Central is 'the pink song', originality is especially appreciated.
