This Saturday during the Vlietdagen, alderman Nadine Stemerdink will unveil a rainbow picnic bench at 11.30 am at Coffeeworks in Voorburg.

The municipality also wants to show in public spaces that Leidschendam-Voorburg is for everyone, regardless of their sexual orientation or cultural background. The municipality prefers to do this in collaboration with entrepreneurs and social partners, because in this way we can show that tolerance and acceptance of others is widely supported within society. Coffeeworks was the first to make one of its picnic tables available for this.

I would like to cordially invite you to the unveiling. You are welcome at Coffeeworks from 11.15 am for coffee/tea and some sweets. We would also like to discuss with you what else is needed in Leidschendam-Voorburg to be an inclusive municipality.
