Pride The Hague 17 – 19 May 2024

The Hague will have its own Pride again: May 17 – 19. The theme is known and we are looking for volunteers to make the event a success. In addition, we are working to inform as many people as possible from The Hague and surrounding areas about Pride: to share stories and information and to motivate them to contribute to promoting equality and inclusion in our (Hague) society.

Theme: Sharing Stories
Pride The Hague (May 17 – 19) is getting closer and we are excited to announce this year's theme: 'Sharing Stories'.

The identities of our us, our neighbors, and the people we love appear in different shapes, sizes, and colors. Each one with its own story. Share your story on social media via #shareyourpride or send us an email with your story (pride@cochaaglanden.nl). Together we share inclusive and diverse stories to create our own new story during Pride The Hague.

Become a volunteer on May 18
As a volunteer at Pride The Hague you play an essential role in making this colorful event possible. By contributing to the implementation, you not only help create a positive experience during Pride, but you also contribute to promoting equality and inclusion in our society. It's an opportunity to make valuable connections and be part of an inspiring community committed to positive change.

As a volunteer you can choose from various tasks, such as Pride Walker, host or bar employee at the party. As a Pride Walker you participate in the Walk and ensure that everything runs smoothly. As a host, you help people find their way and welcome them to the event. As a bar volunteer you help out in the catering industry on site.

If you want to sign up as a volunteer, go go to our website and fill out the registration form in. You will soon receive an invitation for the introductory meeting (in April). We will tell you more there and you can get to know the other volunteers.

Through this newsletter and our website (pridethehague.nl) you will get an impression of what is going to happen from May 17 to 19 this year. This will all become much more concrete in the coming period.
