The Tour d'Amour aims to bridge the gap of taboos and ignorance about sexual and gender diversity. Eveline van de Putte, author of Stormachtig Stil en New Names, developed the Tour D'Amour to address the vulnerability and history of LGBT+ older people. Too many pink elderly still do not dare to be themselves in their own living environment. This is not only due to the ignorance and sometimes even disrespectful behavior of healthcare workers, but also due to the misunderstanding of their peers.

Based on life stories of LGBT+ elderly people and candid conversations, Eveline tries to change the well-known 'unknown makes unloved' into the slogan: Love is a right for everyone, so that pink elderly people can also age safely and happily!
