The successor to the traditional New Year's reception, True Colors, experienced edition number 28 on Sunday 6 January. COC Netherlands welcomed the LGBTI+ community and friends of it in a sold-out Paradiso. Representatives of more than 300 initiatives and organizations that promote sexual and gender diversity have applied! It's buzzing in the Netherlands. In Amsterdam this was again very visible.

The minister spoke and said he would do his best to make every street in the Netherlands safe. The Bob Angelo Medal was presented to the Homomonument Foundation and sports activist Karin Blankenstein. The LGBTI electoral guide for upcoming municipal elections was launched. Icons who died in 2017 and who in any way have made an effort to promote the visibility of our diversity were commemorated. Among other things. Because more happened.

COC Haaglanden and DWH were represented by more than 30 people. Luxury transported by coach, it became a party that already started in The Hague.

A diverse program excited those present. Roxeanne Hazes turned the Great Hall upside down. In the Small Hall, three DJs with a Silent Disco provided great entertainment. Networking was possible everywhere and continuously. The Food Court in the basement was tasty. The atmosphere was good. Until late, Paradiso shook to the beat of the music and the bustling community. The connection was palpable in all the diversity.
