From September 20, the Municipality of The Hague will be facilitating free resilience lessons for queer people aged 16 and over.

In the form of a pilot, six lessons are offered by Box it Out! The offer is for queer people from The Hague aka LHBTQIAP+ people who want to increase their resilience, both mentally and physically. During the training they learn skills and strategies to gain more control over their own safety.

From the table discussions held last year, In order to obtain input for the action plan 'Together Against Street Harassment', it was indicated, among other things, that resilience lessons can have added value for queers who want to feel stronger and more secure in public space.

Marianna Sanna Wezer from Box it Out! talks about the lessons on 7 September, during the Queer Network meeting. So sign up quickly at info@boxitout.nl!
