Dutch Sportsbooks Club launches biography John Blankenstein (1949-2006)

Ten years after his death on August 25, 2006, John Blankenstein is once again making a name for himself. Everything about the former Dutch top referee has been preserved in an immense personal archive. Author Chris Willemsen drew heavily from this for this special biography.

He also spoke with many acquaintances of Blankenstein, including Louis van Gaal, Bert van Oostveen, Henk Krol, Michael van Praag, Jacques d'Ancona, Arnold Vanderlijde, Kim Holland, Henk Bres, Evert ten Napel, Hans van Breukelen, Bas Muijs. , brother Rob and sister Karin Blankenstein and many others.
