Zilveruitjes – every 1st and 3rd Sunday of the month, for and by pink elderly and anyone who feels at home with pink elderly.
Sunday 5 February:
This afternoon we are playing another film, a Dutch golden oldie:
On the Dutch Tour
Op de Hollandse tour is a Dutch film from 1973. The film has the international title Going Dutch. It was the last film by comedian Wim Sonneveld who died in 1974. Robbie is an employee of the small travel agency Bon Voyage. His dictatorial boss just fired a tour guide and now Robbie has to take over. He gets an international group under his wing, including colorful figures. Robbie has to show them all corners of the Netherlands by means of a hired bus with a driver who likes to reach for the jenever. Robbie also has to deal with the love-hungry Mrs. Slaughter.
division of roles:
Wim Sonneveld: Robbie,
Wim Kouwenhoven: Director of travel agency,
Adèle Bloemendaal: Mrs Slaughter,
Joop Doderer: Bus driver Jan,
Rudi Falkenhagen: Sports masseur at Ajax
The film lasts one hour and forty minutes, we want to start it at a quarter to four.
At 18.30 pm there is a nice meal for 7 euros. Bart cooks: Chicken curry, served with lightly spiced rice. And for dessert: Mango sorbet ice cream. Sign up in time at the bar in the afternoon, because: full is full!
The Zilveruitje starts at 15.00 p.m., but the COC Café is open from 12.00 noon. (Scheveningseveer 7, 2514 HB The Hague.)
