Op zaterdag 31 maart 2018 is het Transgender Visibility Dag. Om deze dag te vieren hebben The Hang-Out 070 en Stichting Rainbow Den Haag een mooi programma samengesteld, waarin o.a. de documentaire “Miss MAJOR, Lead with your heart” wordt vertoond. Wat maakt de vertoning belangrijk? De documentaire laat ons zien wat er moet gebeuren voor transpersonen. De film gaat over de realiteit en hun strijd, hun gevechten en hun menselijkheid. Het herinnert ons aan het mooie van onze gemeenschap, de veerkracht en de liefde.

Dus kom en vergezel ons! Er zal een panelgesprek met mensen uit de trans gemeenschap plaatsvinden, Reader’s theater Love me for me geeft een voordracht, CHR Entertainment doet een dansoptreden, er zullen heerlijke tapas zijn de muziek wordt verzorgd door DJ Cherine Laike. De voertaal tijdens dit event is Engels.

Saturday 31st March 2018 is Transgender Visibility Day. The Hang-Out 070 and Stichting Rainbow Den Haag have put together a dignified event, which includes the screening of the documentary: “MAJOR!, Lead with your heart”. Why is this important? The screening of the documentary of Miss Major Griffin-Gracy shows us what still needs to be done for trans people. The film is about the reality of trans people and their struggles, their fights and their humanity. It reminds us of the beauty of our community, resilience and love. 

So come and join us! There will be a panel discussion with members of the trans community, delicious tapas, a performance from Love me for me reader’s theater and a dance performance by CHR Entertaiment and music provided by DJ Cherine. The evening will be lead by the talented Olave Basabose. It is an English speaking event!
