Watch this documentary and be part of a global one year campaign for respect and equality.
The 30-minute documentary by filmmaker Koen Suidgeest follows the parents of LGBT children in Kenya, Indonesia and Russia, three countries with strong anti-gay laws and stigmas.
The film offers the opportunity to talk about love, identity, fear and equality and aims to empower parents with LGBT children. On 17 May 2016 the premiere took place simultaneously in 25 countries on the International Day Against Homophobia and Transphobia (IDAHOT). The film is currently touring the world in a campaign for respect and equality.
The screening will be followed by a panel discussion and interactive debate with the audience. Panel discussion: LGBT activist from Malawi and a LGBT activist from Ukraine. The evening will be moderated by Nadja Houben (director Human Rights in the Picture).
