Many party leaders participate in the European election debate of COC Netherlands on Saturday afternoon, April 12 in Trouw Amsterdam. The European Parliament elections will take place on Thursday 22 May.
The party leaders of the PvdA (Paul Tang), VVD (Hans van Baalen), D66 (Sophie in 't Veld), SP (Dennis de Jong) and the Party for the Animals (Anja Hazekamp) participate in the election debate. Dirk Gotink is participating in the debate on behalf of CDA, on behalf of GroenLinks Judith Sargentini. Representatives from other parties were also invited.
Under the leadership of Anouschka Laheij, the party leaders will debate European issues that are important to lesbians, gays, bisexuals and transgenders (LGBTs).
