Dare2Talk: continue talking about topics that are just a little bit exciting…Dare2Talk organizes meetings for women who like to have a substantive discussion with each other about all kinds of things that have to do with women's love.

On Thursday 13 November we will discuss "stereotyping" In other words: imaging around LBT women.

As for myself, I don't know about you, but I think about it more often than I want to admit to myself.
When I went to the festival on September 13 with all LBT women and a role on stage, I think to my wardrobe, if I put this on, isn't it too……butchie, casual, softie?
And on the other hand, if tomorrow I will join a pregnancy yoga class for the first time in my life,….what will I wear? Stereotype confirming my nicest cool T-shirt and jogging pants, or neatly in a maternity suit.
So considerations that have everything to do with what I think other LBT women as well as the rest of the civilian population think about my being “non-straight”.

On this Dare2Talk we want to discuss:
What images and stereotyping are we all familiar with?
Which one do you think is terrible and do you want to prevent on all sides that only someone thinks that you…..
And what stereotyping is there in your family where they are afraid that you are too…
Can you identify with certain groups within LBT women? Or does the stereotyping sometimes hold you back?
And it is also about: how visible do you want to be?
Are there nice sides to it, is it something you can also play with? Putting the other on a shaky leg?

If you like to chat with us, let's hear from you soon; last time Dare2Talk was canceled due to too few registrations…..although we did receive a lot of enthusiastic reactions!
