Thanks to the Queer Mind Foundation, the Huygenspark now has another new #come flag now also a rainbow bench! Under the supervision of alderman Arjen Kapteijns, the bench was festively inaugurated in the presence of a large audience. The flagpole is now firmly drilled into the ground, so the flag should be more difficult to remove now. “When they go low, we go high!” The rainbow community also belongs in the Huygenspark, and it shows! Thanks also to the Spinoza Hof for the tasty snacks and drinks that were provided by cargo bike. Nice to see that the neighborhood is so involved and that it is alive!
