Roze Blok Delft is one of the oldest gay sports associations in the Netherlands and will be celebrating its 25th anniversary next season. There still seems to be a need for an association where you can meet like-minded people in a relaxed atmosphere and where you can practice your favorite sport. Roze Blok is all about a combination of sport and fun. In the lustrum year, extra festive and sporting activities will be organized. To emphasize the lustrum, the athletes have been given a new sports outfit, made possible in part by Cafe De Landman in The Hague, one of the most popular gay bars in the region.

Roze Blok Delft has more than 50 members in volleyball and badminton. The volleyball players play with a few teams in the national gay competition. It is played at different levels. Roze Blok Delft has been the most successful association there for years. The teams are also active in tournaments at home and abroad. During the regional volleyball season opening, the Westlandcup in Poeldijk, the volleyball team in the new team clothing already got off to a flashy start by taking first place.
The badminton players also participate in a national city competition and also travel to tournaments all over the world. The association itself also organizes a badminton and beach volleyball tournament every year.

The playing evenings for volleyball and badminton are on Sunday evening at 19:00 in Sporthal Tanthof Zuid. Training sessions are also organized for novice players. There is still room at all levels. If you're interested, come take a look and participate. on Sunday 06 October at 19:00 becomes one for both sports sports-inspiration organized for the experienced and the non-experienced, for gays and non-gays, for lesbian or non-lesbian, everyone can participate.
