On International Women's Day, during the 8 March Festival, four pink pearls were put in the spotlight. Sandra Khouw, Hilde Vossen, Luuk Wessels and Dennis van Steijn received a certificate from none other than Jörgen Raymann. It stated that they deserve this certificate because of their special contribution to the promotion of an equal position and equal participation of men and women in the city of The Hague. As COC Haaglanden ambassador and member of the 8 March Festival core team, Roxanne van den Berg had nominated these pearls. The COC warmly congratulates the pearls and thanks them for their tireless commitment to the city.
