COC Haaglanden, the oldest LGBTI+ interest group in the world, is looking for a passionate coordinator to set up and lead our new political working group. As coordinator of the political working group, you play a crucial role in promoting advocacy for the queer community in The Hague. Are you ready for this challenging mission?

Profile of the ideal candidate:

– You are passionate about advocacy and political change.

– You are enthusiastic to set up and lead the political working group.

– Able to communicate effectively and build relationships with local politicians.

– You have an affinity with the interests of the LGBTI+ community.

– Creative in developing strategies to get the theme on the local political agenda.

– Result-oriented and able to inspire and mobilize others.

What are you going to do:

As coordinator of the political working group, you are responsible for setting up, organizing and leading activities aimed at representing the interests of the queer community in The Hague. You will enter into discussions with local politicians and policy makers to put the theme on the agenda and bring about positive changes. You work together with various stakeholders to develop impactful initiatives.

COC Haaglanden is a lively association that is committed to the interests of the LGBTI+ community. Our building on Scheveningseveer in The Hague is a meeting place for various activities. Now we want to launch a political working group to take advocacy to the next level.
